Zühtü Tamer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Belém having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykut Kutluay to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Haşim Tekcan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haşim Tekcan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haşim Tekcan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 19 minutes ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Jacob Belém managed, with a little bit of luck, save Nurkan Gürgen's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After 20 minutes of play, Trabzonspor's Nurkan Gürgen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Belém was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Trabzonspor's Jacob Belém threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zühtü Tamer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Semi Sertaç came free, but Timur Ulum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semi Sertaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fehmi Tunçkılıç made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Orhun Ciray put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Timur Ulum. After 54 minutes, Zühtü Tamer made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Jacob Belém tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Orhun Ciray made a precise shot to the right of Timur Ulum. Trabzonspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Semi Sertaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timur Ulum came out of the goal and Semi Sertaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alim Çavas fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzonspor's protests and gave Alim Çavas a yellow card for diving instead. Alim Çavas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Nurkan Gürgen hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semi Sertaç to maneuver through the defense. When Trabzonspor's Barış Yılmaz in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trabzonspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
