The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Shadows's Jens Molander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save The Shadows from getting a goal against them. Jens Molander made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jack Ares sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Sune Kvalfält got a free kick in the 6th minute. Granicerul's Andrei Florei shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jens Molander but with some difficulty. Jack Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jens Molander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Bock in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Eusebiu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Bock came free, but Octavian Bebeșel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Ludwig Bock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Bebeșel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Granicerul booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Jack Ares fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jens Molander, passed just outside the right post. In the 29thth minute of the game Elliott Klemensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, The Shadows's Jens Molander got control of the ball when Jack Ares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Valeriu Uduleanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Shadows the free kick. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valeriu Uduleanu hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Bergstedt came free, but Octavian Bebeșel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granicerul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elliott Klemensson was slow to take the kick. During this time The Shadows's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Elliott Klemensson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel did a great save. In the 42nd minute of the match Granicerul got a corner. The Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrei Florei ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Granicerul's Andrei Florei to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens Molander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Granicerul's Jack Ares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Molander. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. Jens Molander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ares in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Ares to strike the kick off in the second half. When Granicerul's Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Ares in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Molander saved The Shadows from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Molander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Shadows's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrei Florei was slow to take the kick. During this time Granicerul's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute Eusebiu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Granicerul fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Granicerul's Jack Ares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 75 minutes into the game, Hampus Eriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granicerul the free kick. Jens Molander came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Granicerul's Jack Ares. But to his dismay, Jack Ares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bengt Julin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Uduleanu in the 87th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Jens Molander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Dragoş Grădinaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Molander. The Shadows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragoş Grădinaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jens Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Granicerul were the better team. Granicerul's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
