After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Andrei Florei got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Uduleanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Javier Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Granicerul booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Azubeli in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eusebiu Ianculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Rojelio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Teofilo Rojelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Grădinaru in the 25th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Teofilo Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Granicerul's Emil Olteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Rojelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jack Ares took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Rojelio. Teofilo Rojelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Uduleanu in the 43rd minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Teofilo Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Ares made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Grădinaru. Sonny Aae kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Teofilo Rojelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Ares in the 57th minute. Olimpiu Zdrenghea hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Teofilo Rojelio made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Valeriu Uduleanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Florentino Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Garoa struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Octavian Bebeșel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Millo de Haedo. Octavian Bebeșel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Teofilo Rojelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Uduleanu in the 86th minute. Octavian Bebeșel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Azubeli's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a little luck, El Millo de Haedo's Teofilo Rojelio got control of the ball when Dragoş Grădinaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nicolas Azubeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Granicerul's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
