After 22 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Veto. If Nicolas Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Azubeli in the 33rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chacarita Jrs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Domingo Diaz had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Luís Schmidt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pedro Luís Schmidt scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Miliano in the 42nd minute of play forced Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Domingo Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The El Millo de Haedo fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when El Millo de Haedo's Nicolas Azubeli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Chacarita Jrs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Millo de Haedo were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Eskuin was the one to do the kick off. Domingo Diaz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by El Millo de Haedo's Daniel Pereyra. But to his dismay, Daniel Pereyra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Domingo Diaz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Daniel Pereyra sent off a good shot on target. Saturnino Gergori hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Daniel Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Diaz having to interfere. In the 69th minute Nicolas Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Azubeli in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Chacarita Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Beila. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Azubeli in the 75th minute of play. Chacarita Jrs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Nicolas Azubeli scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Diaz, making the score, 0-6. In the 80th minute, Chacarita Jrs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Pereyra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 80thth minute of the game Nicolas Azubeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Millo de Haedo's Nicolas Azubeli got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, one of Chacarita Jrs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chacarita Jrs:s Domingo Diaz showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Luís Schmidt:s penalty. Domingo Diaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Schmidt went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Veto during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Veto. The crowd rose to their feet as El Millo de Haedo's Nicolas Azubeli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Diaz. That made the score 0-9 after 97 minutes of play. El Millo de Haedo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
