In the 8th minute, Idacio Helguera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Esparteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Reyes in the 11th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Paulo Esparteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Casildo Galdamez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Esparteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Bernardo Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Gaskon Mayor could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Paulo Esparteiro however easily saved by the left post. Kevin Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lia Saez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Couto in the 35th minute of play forced Los romperredes F.C's goalkeeper Lia Saez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Rodas Arribas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los romperredes F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FS the free kick. The supporters of Delta FS booed when Los romperredes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Arribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Paulo Esparteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 39 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Vilar. After some careless play in the Los romperredes F.C defense, Andaka Mellon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lia Saez. The Los romperredes F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lia Saez should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andaka Mellon to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Esparteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Helguera in the 51st minute of the match. Paulo Esparteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idacio Helguera went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lia Saez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andaka Mellon in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaka Mellon in the 61st minute of play forced Los romperredes F.C's goalkeeper Lia Saez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Esparteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Esparteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idacio Helguera went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Idacio Helguera in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Esparteiro saved Delta FS from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Delta FS's Bernardo Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lia Saez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Gaskon Mayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Esparteiro. Delta FS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaskon Mayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 89th minute Gaskon Mayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Esparteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
