That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Casper Candries made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Marques in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Mario Benitez got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nuno Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mario Benitez was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaka Mellon in the 22nd minute of play forced Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Casper Candries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Delta FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Paião to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Van den Inde to maneuver through the defense. Casper Candries made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bernardo Couto sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Marcos to make the kick off. Casper Candries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andaka Mellon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andaka Mellon succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 60th minute, Nuno Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Candries was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Paulo Esparteiro came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Presidents FC's Ferdinand Marcos. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Marcos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Marcos came free, but Paulo Esparteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Delta FS booed when Les Presidents FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Van den Inde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Candries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Les Presidents FC's Ferdinand Marcos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Nuno Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Casper Candries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Kevin Paião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delta FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Paião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Candries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Miguéis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Van den Inde hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Andaka Mellon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Candries having to interfere. Casper Candries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Marques in the 88th minute of play. When Leonid Cotorobai fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Presidents FC's protests and gave Leonid Cotorobai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Cotorobai to maneuver through the defense. Casper Candries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andaka Mellon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Miguéis scored 5-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Candries, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delta FS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
