But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Gelmiro couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Václav Havel to maneuver through the defense. Kristiaan Dirickx kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Candido Eutor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Marcos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when Huckebein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mieszko Domarecki fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Presidents FC's protests and gave Mieszko Domarecki a yellow card for diving instead. Mieszko Domarecki hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Candido Eutor came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Presidents FC's Mario Benitez. But to his dismay, Mario Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Ferdinand Marcos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Presidents FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Marcos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Les Presidents FC's Mario Benitez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Eutor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Gelmiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Amador Caton suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Les Presidents FC's Mieszko Domarecki got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. Ferdinand Marcos succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. In the 84th minute, Rene Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Isaias Tercero lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 97th minute, Les Presidents FC got a penalty, and Mario Benitez placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Václav Havel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Candido Eutor made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Les Presidents FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
