Viggo Engström hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Fenrir BK's Robert Falck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Ivan Bergendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With an all-out effort, Fenrir BK's Philip Mattsson threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Falck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Falck in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Mattsson saved FK Ekebo from getting behind. A collision led to Fenrir BK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ivan Bergendahl hit a great ball. Olov Hult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute, one of FK Ekebo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Ekebo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kjell Lind charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Lind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FK Ekebo made a substitution. Marko Sundin replaced Viggo Engström. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fenrir BK! Andréas Delin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Falck in the 64th minute of play forced FK Ekebo's goalkeeper Philip Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fenrir BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
