The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Fagildo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquilino Mon hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nildo Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, German Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmeralda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Isaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Tinoco in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Cristian Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Zézinho Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zézinho Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Bilek kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. German Isaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Esmeralda AFC defense, Wilson Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Jakue. The Esmeralda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Jakue should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes of play, Reac Futebol Clube's Zézinho Tinoco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Jakue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino de Alcântara in the 49th minute of play. The Esmeralda AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reac Futebol Clube were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Reis was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Tinoco in the 57th minute. Mateo Jakue made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Zézinho Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd play minute Zézinho Tinoco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mateo Jakue. 0-3. Reac Futebol Clube's Fausto Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Hermelando in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Esmeralda AFC's Baltasar Maldonado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reac Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
