Darkness's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Baldomero Ovando scored to the left of an out of position Gianluigi Ogazon, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Flavio Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Goi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gianluigi Ogazon. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Deportivo Mukenio's Ruben Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Marino in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Marino in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Benvido saved Deportivo Mukenio from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Darkness's Salvador Marino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ruben Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Marino in the 27th minute of the match. Salvador Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ruben Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Restu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ruben Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Matro in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Goi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Marino in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Benvido saved Deportivo Mukenio from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tadeo Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darkness's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Benvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carlos Uchiha fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darkness's protests and gave Carlos Uchiha a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Uchiha hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Salvador Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ruben Benvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Marino. Salvador Marino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ruben Benvido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Darkness's Salvador Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Deportivo Mukenio's Ruben Benvido got control of the ball when Salvador Marino tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Marino in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Benvido saved Deportivo Mukenio from getting behind. Honorato Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Darkness's Salvador Marino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Marino in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Marino in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Benvido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Deportivo Mukenio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
