Armando Macias started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Júlio Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darkness the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Júlio Pires got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Pires. Armando Macias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin Mazza firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, one of Darkness:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Darkness. Darkness:s Gianluigi Ogazon showed great skill when he stopped Ronaldo Gol:s penalty. Gianluigi Ogazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tomás Ferraz hit a great ball. Jose Taurino shot from long distance in the 30th minute, but Benjamin Mazza was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Terra came free, but Gianluigi Ogazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Benjamin Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd play minute Tiburcio Matro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benjamin Mazza. 2-1. Tales de Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gianluigi Ogazon. Darkness's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Benjamin Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Sánchez in the 51st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Gianluigi Ogazon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Matro in the 56th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Benjamin Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Jose Taurino. 60 minutes into the match, Darkness's goalkeeper Gianluigi Ogazon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbson Messias. Róbson Messias scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Ogazon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hugo Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Darkness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Sánchez couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Domingos Etor made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Marcial Errapel scored 4-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Etor. Gianluigi Ogazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Gol in the 75th minute of the match. Hugo Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tales de Carvalho hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play, Darkness's Domingos Etor made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Rockets's Róbson Messias got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Hugo Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Matro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darkness's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockets the free kick. Mateo Uchiha charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Uchiha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rockets booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Uchiha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
