But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto-Federico Duran couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Miguéis made a great header on Sporting Tuga FC's corner, it was just that Deportivo Empate's Cordairo Abad managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Sporting Tuga FC booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firme Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Tuga FC's Eusébio Caiado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavon Abellaneda in the 9th minute of play. Eusébio Caiado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto-Federico Duran in the 17th minute of play. Telmo Silveira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Simão Lobato fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Tuga FC's protests and gave Simão Lobato a yellow card for diving instead. Eusébio Caiado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Abenda in the 22nd minute of play. Eusébio Caiado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Abenda went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Amador Abenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Caiado having to interfere. When Mete Mete fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 27th match minute, Sporting Tuga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mete Mete to maneuver through the defense. Cordairo Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Herman in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Xavon Abellaneda hit a great ball. Deportivo Empate's Cordairo Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Empate from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Amador Abenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Caiado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Géza Herman to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Caiado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto-Federico Duran in the 50th minute of the match. The nice shot from Amador Abenda in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eusébio Caiado had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Amador Abenda in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusébio Caiado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilson Raposo's late challenge caught a Deportivo Empate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Raposo helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Tuga FC! The goalkeeper, Eusébio Caiado, was totally fooled by Deportivo Empate's Liher Aballe, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Amador Abenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Tuga FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Deportivo Empate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Miguéis took the corner. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Empate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
