With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludo Verstraeten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes in the game, 范辉树 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludo Verstraeten having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 范辉树 got free with Ludo Verstraeten in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Forza Heppenbach's Hendrik-Jan Goddez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Aime Rondou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Leeb took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ludo Verstraeten. Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 played minutes Forza Heppenbach got a freekick which was hit by Augustijn Luytens. Ludo Verstraeten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 陶城星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 范辉树 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
