Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prudencio Thomas started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goalkeeper Amado Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Carlos Polido. Maurício Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Tano in the 4th minute of play. Amado Cordarryl was a little too slow when João Carlos Polido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maurício Varanda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Thomas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Urutu F.C.'s Luís Malheiro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Habsburgo's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Malheiro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Cordarryl saved Habsburgo from getting behind. A collision led to Habsburgo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Prudencio Thomas hit a great ball. Maurício Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Quintan in the 20th minute of the match. Maurício Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Arnulfo Tano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Habsburgo's Prudencio Thomas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Varanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Thomas in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Urutu F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Rochedo. 46 minutes into the game, Urutu F.C.'s Luís Malheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Cordarryl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After a rather tough play, Urutu F.C.'s Custódio Bastos got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute of the match Claudio Martxot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Varanda skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Prudencio Thomas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Varanda. Urutu F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Thomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Arnulfo Tano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Varanda having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Prudencio Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65thth minute of the game Luís Malheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Habsburgo's Amado Cordarryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmano Curvelo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Urutu F.C.'s Maurício Varanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Urutu F.C. from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Thomas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Tano might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Varanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Tano ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurício Varanda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Tano in the 76th minute. Arnulfo Tano came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maurício Varanda could save by the left post. A collision led to Urutu F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luís Malheiro hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Arnulfo Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Habsburgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Tano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luís Malheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Cordarryl was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Luís Malheiro took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Cordarryl. Amado Cordarryl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper Maurício Varanda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Polido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urutu F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
