In the 5th minute, Roch Zjawin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Brzakala was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Korneliusz Ziemniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Kutas in the 9th minute. After 13 minutes, Juliusz Mentus made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Borzykówka's Korneliusz Ziemniak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 20 in the game by Adam Kutas from a close distance when the talented Korneliusz Ziemniak managed to make a qualified save. Borzykówka's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute Marian Swoboda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Brzakala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Swoboda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Waclaw Brzakala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Roch Zjawin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Real Madrid's Waclaw Brzakala. Waclaw Brzakala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marian Swoboda struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Waclaw Brzakala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borzykówka. In the 35th minute of the match Marian Swoboda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waclaw Brzakala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Konstanty Zima hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Radomir Czapski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Borzykówka's Korneliusz Ziemniak got control of the ball when Juliusz Mentus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Konstanty Zima got a free kick in the 55th minute. Eugeniusz Kisiel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Waclaw Brzakala skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Borzykówka's Marian Swoboda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waclaw Brzakala. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. After 61 played minutes, Borzykówka's Fryderyk Burowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waclaw Brzakala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borzykówka reached it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Borzykówka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Madrid:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Real Madrid. Juliusz Mentus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Korneliusz Ziemniak. 2-3. Konstanty Zima hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Juliusz Mentus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Skaradowski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Real Madrid's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugeniusz Kisiel 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Real Madrid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Marian Swoboda scored to the left of an out of position Waclaw Brzakala, making the score, 2-6. 90 minutes into the game, Gilbert Gomolka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borzykówka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid the free kick. Waclaw Brzakala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kisiel in the 95th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Waclaw Brzakala successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Hugon Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borzykówka's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
