The tension between the SAPRIMECKBEL and the Illuminati players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Rosabal. In the 36th minute Saul Picado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ciborek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Wanchope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor House, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Wanchope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pitt Brad went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Orlando Cordoba's late challenge caught a Illuminati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Cordoba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SAPRIMECKBEL getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Orlando Cordoba hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Wincek was the one to do the kick off.
