Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorel Cretu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞK's zone, Vadim Speianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Onur Rakim came out of the goal and Vadim Speianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vadim Speianu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vadim Speianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞK booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Speianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Dorel Cretu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTAŞK's Hakkı Onur Rakim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Galip Dikici. With a little luck, FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei got control of the ball when Alkan İldeniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BEŞİKTAŞK's Alkan İldeniz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vadim Macovei. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the game, Radu Briceag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Truseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEŞİKTAŞK the free kick. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Radu Briceag hit a great ball. When Vadim Speianu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Vadim Speianu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bulut İrgun made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Asaf Mete got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Leonid Nazaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hakkı Onur Rakim having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dorel Cretu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Cretu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Onur Rakim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Asrın Yaygır mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BEŞİKTAŞK and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when BEŞİKTAŞK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asrın Yaygır didn't get a good kick on the ball. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkan İldeniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vadim Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's Bulut İrgun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vadim Macovei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Leonid Nazaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Nazaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Onur Rakim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinç Türk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkan İldeniz in the 92nd minute of play. If Mircea Dadu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
