The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 4th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Miguel Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Chorache came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario. But to his dismay, Lucas Alario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miguel Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Fernandes in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Jacob in the 11th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Guido Gaizkine got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 19th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Miguel Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trinchera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Alario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The throw-in from Pascual Lop in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Alejo Loren. 33 minutes into the game, Leon Hegoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinchera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D Atlético Villa Gesell the free kick. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Alario in the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot 37 in the game by Celedonio Eguntsenti from a close distance when the talented Severo Elequemedo managed to make a qualified save. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's players were relieved. When Leon Hegoi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. In the 38th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Gaizkine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severo Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Eguntsenti in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Celedonio Eguntsenti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trinchera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 59 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Loren. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Gaizkine in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute Leo Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Alario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Miguel Chorache made a huge save. In the 70th minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Alario, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Eguntsenti in the 82nd minute of play. With his leg Miguel Chorache managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Miguel Chorache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Alario in the 87th minute. After 87 played minutes Trinchera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ryuji Laprise. Ryuji Laprise hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Arnaldo Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Leo Jacob hit a great ball. After some careless play in the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell defense, Guido Gaizkine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Elequemedo. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Elequemedo should have stopped the shot. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D Atlético Villa Gesell would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
