Severo Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Napier in the 2nd minute of play. Gualterio Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Osoitz in the 5th minute of play. Severo Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ruhi Ongay charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruhi Ongay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Ruhi Ongay. In the 11th minute of the match Saul Peruanton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Elequemedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severo Elequemedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Felipillo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of El ultimo booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruhi Ongay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arnaldo Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Furlan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Pastor Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Osoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Lluc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirilo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Lluc having to interfere. In the 30th minute Benicio Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Felipillo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El ultimo:s goal. Severo Elequemedo had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafael Napier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

With his leg Severo Elequemedo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when El ultimo's Orlando Peio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 74 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Leon Tono. Severo Elequemedo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hugo Fidele sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Fidele in the 82nd minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
