After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jamie van Elderen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie van Elderen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldão Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 25 minutes, Johny Godefroid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johny Godefroid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Johny Godefroid came free, but Ronaldão Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Abraão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wannes De Tapp came out and tried to block the shot, but Hílton Abraão slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldão Souza. That made the score 2-2 after 61 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldão Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Johny Godefroid came free, but Ronaldão Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johny Godefroid ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Osvaldinho Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes, Invictus FC's Jamie van Elderen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldão Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Invictus FC reached it. Leandro Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ronaldão Souza made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Lennart De Keyser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Johny Godefroid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Lennart De Keyser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hílton Abraão hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Johny Godefroid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Souza having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Invictus FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA.
