Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johny Godefroid in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Invictus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jamie van Elderen in the 12th minute. The corner led Invictus FC's Jamie van Elderen to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Romelio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Erramun during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Casimiro Erramun hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Apolo Naelio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Gallardeta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! La Gallardeta:s Paulo Romelio showed great skill when he stopped Jamie van Elderen:s penalty. Paulo Romelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johny Godefroid went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Johny Godefroid scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Romelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johny Godefroid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Johny Godefroid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart De Keyser to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Casimiro Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Johny Godefroid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johny Godefroid's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johny Godefroid helped the player get up and apologised. Johny Godefroid hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Lennart De Keyser. In the 67th minute, Marcos Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Johny Godefroid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Romelio was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Paulo Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johny Godefroid's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When Ludo Berghmans fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Ludo Berghmans a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Matteo made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Erubiel Chuan immediately put the ball in play. Paulo Romelio was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Johny Godefroid capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johny Godefroid really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Invictus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
