Lukasz Marek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Poursanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Korneliusz Trochowski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Lelopoulos came free, but Lukasz Marek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Korneliusz Trochowski came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Lyna Lidzbark Warminski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Trochowski couldn't finish the play. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Lukasz Marek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Papachristou in the 25th minute of play. Korneliusz Trochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Lyna Lidzbark Warminski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Galaska didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Grigoris Poursanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Marek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korneliusz Trochowski during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kostas Periandros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacek Galaska showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. If Jacek Galaska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukasz Marek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Lelopoulos in the 43rd minute of play. Jacek Galaska blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kostas Periandros having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigoris Poursanidis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Kowalski to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Papachristou might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Marek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alekos Papachristou ran back to his position shaking his head. Fanis Papafanopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Korneliusz Trochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Periandros having to interfere. If Jacek Galaska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Jacek Galaska left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyna Lidzbark Warminski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dobromir Siekierka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostas Periandros. Pagos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Jacek Galaska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Periandros was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Kostas Periandros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Galaska in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Maciej Giejda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jacek Galaska took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Kazimierz Kowalski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Pagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Kyrimlis to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Zarobski, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Lyna Lidzbark Warminski players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
