In the 9th minute, Emanuel Markham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Bora Bora's Ture Nyman got control of the ball when Emanuel Markham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl Bergstrøm charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Bergstrøm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kent Remme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ture Nyman 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Are Høiby to maneuver through the defense. Ture Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arild Reppen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bora Bora's goalie prevented a goal. Karl Bergstrøm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ture Nyman made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Markham. A collision led to Bora Bora getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Carl Ekberg hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Markham. In the 37th minute, Emanuel Markham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ture Nyman. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 40th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Markham to maneuver through the defense. Ture Nyman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Markham in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Brufoss IL's Karl Bergstrøm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Markham got free with Ture Nyman in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Lindman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Olav Øverby successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karl Bergstrøm took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ture Nyman. Ture Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Jens Alebäck fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bora Bora's protests and gave Jens Alebäck a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Bora Bora got a freekick which was hit by Jens Alebäck. Ture Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vetle Nygård kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Lindman in the 66th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brufoss IL's Jørund Nyhagen was substituted for Arild Kvalnes. 77 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Ture Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Bora Bora got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Westerberg. Ture Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tor-Egil Arntsen scored 8-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tor-Egil Arntsen took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ture Nyman. Ture Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Brufoss IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
