Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Emanuel Markham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apolo Larrañaga. Emanuel Markham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A nice corner shot did that Pierre Fevre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olav Øverby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kent Remme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Larrañaga having to interfere. Olav Øverby came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro. But to his dismay, Rainerio Huidobro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Vetle Nygård notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga. Apolo Larrañaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Preben Halden got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Tanio Lezaeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Øverby. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanio Lezaeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match Brufoss IL got a corner. Talcampeón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kent Remme ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Brufoss IL's Kent Remme to fire away a dangerous shot which Apolo Larrañaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Rainerio Huidobro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olav Øverby came out of the goal and Rainerio Huidobro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Bergstrøm scored 4-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Larrañaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Kent Remme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Larrañaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen was substituted for Karl Bergstrøm. In the 74th minute, Tor-Egil Arntsen made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. Talcampeón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Apolo Larrañaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre Fevre hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 78th minute of play. When Andrés Villaseñor came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Talcampeón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés Villaseñor couldn't finish the play. Tanio Lezaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Tor-Egil Arntsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Apolo Larrañaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Markham took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Larrañaga. Apolo Larrañaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. In the 94th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor-Egil Arntsen to maneuver through the defense. Brufoss IL's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
