If József Vermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigoris Poursanidis scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoltán Szepes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Giorgos Tsiabras hit a great ball. Zoltán Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Alexiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoltán Szepes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Poursanidis in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Szabolcs Kerekes managed to get in a good position for a shot. PMFC 2018's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Kerekes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Periandros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros got control of the ball when Koppány Keresztesi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zoltán Szepes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Lelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Koppány Keresztesi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when PMFC 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koppány Keresztesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Lelopoulos got free with Zoltán Szepes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zoltán Szepes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Grigoris Poursanidis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Lelopoulos in the 62nd minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Zoltán Szepes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoltán Szepes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Papachristou, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Giorgos Tsiabras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PMFC 2018 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
