Nestor Barria charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Barria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Nestor Barria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omer Vandamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Larrañaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omer Vandamme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Omer Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Larrañaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omer Vandamme in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Larrañaga saved Talcampeón FC from getting behind. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Vandamme in the 32nd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertus Schepmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainerio Huidobro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga got control of the ball when Omer Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Omer Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David De Raeijmaecker in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match North Hill United got a corner. Talcampeón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niels Vandamme ran over to the corner to take the kick. North Hill United's Niels Vandamme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Larrañaga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ángel Soruco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talcampeón FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Apolo Larrañaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omer Vandamme in the 73rd minute. Albertus Schepmans came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Andrés Villaseñor. But to his dismay, Andrés Villaseñor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Talcampeón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Omer Vandamme scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Larrañaga, making the score, 3-3. After having played for 80 minutes, Omer Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Hill United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omer Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Larrañaga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. 92 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Omer Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Larrañaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tanio Lezaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertus Schepmans having to interfere. North Hill United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
