The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Aureli got free with Abdi Aktürk in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ercole Finocchi took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Abdi Aktürk to make any attempt to save it.
