But to his dismay, Léo Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adan Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Alcântara scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Pereyra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseu Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Eliseu Melo made a huge save. After some careless play in the El Stradivarius defense, Léo Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Pereyra. The El Stradivarius fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Pereyra should have stopped the shot. When Leo Errapel fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Stradivarius's protests and gave Leo Errapel a yellow card for diving instead. Leo Errapel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Jairo Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Pereyra. El Stradivarius's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 38th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Sanchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseu Melo. That made the score 1-4 in the 42 minute of play. In the 45th match minute, El Stradivarius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. El Stradivarius's Adan Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Almeida in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Inter de São Paulo were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Sanchez to strike the kick off in the second half. El Stradivarius's Adan Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save El Stradivarius from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the game, Niceto Sanchez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Stradivarius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de São Paulo the free kick. Niceto Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Léo Almeida took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Adan Pereyra to make any attempt to save it. After 60 minutes, Agustin Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Stradivarius and the Inter de São Paulo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Perez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Stradivarius booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Sanchez in the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Inter de São Paulo's Jairo Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adan Pereyra. Adan Pereyra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. In the 85th minute Jairo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Inter de São Paulo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Stradivarius throughout the match.
