Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Inter de São Paulo's Celsinho Bittencourt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Falkiewicz in the 6th minute of play. Wieslaw Tscherner was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Inter de São Paulo booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Tscherner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo de Castro, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Gaszynski in the 12th minute of the match. Eliseu Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Gaszynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roch Frankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Majorski in the 19th minute of the match. Zenon Gaszynski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Melo. Eliseu Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Majorski came free, but Eliseu Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Inter de São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Tepedino. In the 32nd minute, Zenon Gaszynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 35 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Barnaba Latkiewicz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Zenon Gaszynski notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo. Eliseu Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zenon Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Inter de São Paulo defense, Radoslaw Falkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Melo. The Inter de São Paulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Melo should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radoslaw Falkiewicz to make the kick off. Eliseu Melo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Borys Majorski sent off a good shot on target. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 58th minute of play. 1909 Tarnovia's Barnaba Latkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radoslaw Falkiewicz. Gonçalo Maranhense hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Eliseu Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Majorski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Zenon Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Melo having to interfere. Eliseu Melo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Radoslaw Falkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. After 78 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Radoslaw Falkiewicz made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Gaszynski in the 82nd minute of play forced Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Almeida came free, but Roch Frankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Zbyszko Topolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roch Frankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenon Gaszynski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eliseu Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1909 Tarnovia. After 97 minutes, Boleslaw Drozdowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1909 Tarnovia and the Inter de São Paulo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boleslaw Drozdowski hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 1909 Tarnovia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
