After 2 minutes, Celsinho Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de São Paulo and the MoVenTorZ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celsinho Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Eliseu Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Aureli, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Arrigo Aureli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Adriano Conte made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Jairo Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Aureli came free, but Eliseu Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Aureli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Melo having to interfere. A collision led to Inter de São Paulo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Agnaldo de Castro hit a great ball. Adriano Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Inter de São Paulo defense, Daniele Pizzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Melo. The Inter de São Paulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Melo should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celsinho Bittencourt made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Arrigo Aureli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliseu Melo. The goal made the score 1-3. Ercole Finocchi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercole Finocchi. Eliseu Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Aureli in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Perez threw the ball into play from the sideline. MoVenTorZ FC's Daniele Pizzi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Aureli in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercole Finocchi got free with Eliseu Melo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, MoVenTorZ FC's Ercole Finocchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliseu Melo. Eliseu Melo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Celsinho Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Adriano Conte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de São Paulo. In the 93rd minute, Salvino Cal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The MoVenTorZ FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MoVenTorZ FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
