Guilherme Duarte tried in the game's 18th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hortêncio Duarte. An annoying self made goal, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Meira in the 21st minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Conrado Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Cordario came out of the goal and Conrado Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davi Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Carmelo Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho Meira got free with Carmelo Cordario in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Candelaria FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado Qwinton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute Aureliano Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Pindorama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcos Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Pindorama's protests and gave Davi Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Davi Botelho hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Roman Barros with Marcos Ellande as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 87 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Qwinton came free, but Carmelo Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúl Vieira struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carmelo Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pindorama. 91 minutes into the match, Conrado Qwinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carmelo Cordario, 1-3. Pindorama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
