Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damien Quinn took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Otten's Olaf Lübke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SC Otten from getting a goal against them. The corner led Clapham Rovers's Damien Quinn to fire away a dangerous shot which Olaf Lübke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Clapham Rovers's Rodney Watkinson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Lübke. Olaf Lübke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. SC Otten's Olaf Lübke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Quinn in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Clapham Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Hansjörg Görlitz came free, but Nilmar Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Otten defense, Rodney Watkinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Lübke. The SC Otten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Lübke should have stopped the shot. Damien Quinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Vielmann in the 25th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Booth charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Booth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charles Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Rodney Watkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Lübke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keiran Jenkins in the 34th minute. If Rodney Watkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Damien Quinn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Lübke was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 45th minute Rudi Tenhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronnie Schilder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Otten's zone, Keiran Jenkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Lübke came out of the goal and Keiran Jenkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Ronnie Schilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Otten's Olaf Lübke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Quinn in the 57th minute of play. Rodney Watkinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Charles Booth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Olaf Lübke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damien Quinn struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Olaf Lübke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Rovers. Olaf Lübke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damien Quinn's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Keiran Jenkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Keiran Jenkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Lübke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Rodney Watkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodney Watkinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudi Tenhagen during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Rodney Watkinson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SC Otten's Olaf Lübke. Olaf Lübke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes, Hansjörg Görlitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Otten and the Clapham Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Hansjörg Görlitz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Damien Quinn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephen Hedges during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Stephen Hedges got a free kick in the 89th minute. Donny Rebell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilmar Brasil. Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Görlitz in the 92nd minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clapham Rovers had played much better football throughout.
