Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Balkes FC defense, Shane Barratt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Viladrosa. The Balkes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Viladrosa should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Shane Barratt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xamo Viladrosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Elazar Cambas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Xamo Viladrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Tuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Falcão in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xamo Viladrosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Shane Barratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamo Viladrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernado Mendivil hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iván Sotomayor in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. If Gez Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elazar Cambas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Balkes FC booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shane Barratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Balkes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Barratt came free, but Xamo Viladrosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iván Sotomayor to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Hammond made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by James Tuck. Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xamo Viladrosa was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Gez Barber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gez Barber really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When Fernado Mendivil fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkes FC's protests and gave Fernado Mendivil a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivar Regulez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruninho Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Garlic Eaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Falcão couldn't finish the play. Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Falcão in the 72nd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Perma. In the 79th minute James Tuck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamo Viladrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Sambrano to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Falcão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Xamo Viladrosa 86 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Bruninho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamo Viladrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garlic Eaters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
