The crowd rose to their feet as Garlic Eaters's Bruninho Falcão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Peli. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Candelaria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Gez Barber scored to the left of an out of position Marco Peli, making the score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gez Barber took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marco Peli to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Marco Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho Falcão. Candelaria FC's Marco Peli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. When James Tuck fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave James Tuck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, James Tuck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Barratt took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Peli. Marco Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the game, Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Marco Peli got control of the ball when Shane Barratt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Barratt in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Ruperto Abeita made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Falcão in the 52nd minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Marco Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria FC's Aureliano Izotz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luke Lovell in the 56 minute of the game. Shane Barratt took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Peli. Marco Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Tuck came free, but Marco Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marco Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruninho Falcão went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Marco Peli came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt. But to his dismay, Shane Barratt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Candelaria FC's attentive Laureano Estebe managed to snatch the ball when Luke Lovell made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Garlic Eaters from getting a goal against them. Marco Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Falcão in the 84th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Barratt came free, but Marco Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Garlic Eaters had played much better football throughout.
