All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nilmar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Barratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Booth in the 56th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Booth in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. James Tuck might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Tuck ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Barratt. Nilmar Brasil made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bruninho Falcão sent off a good shot on target. Gul Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Booth in the 69th minute of the match. Robert Welch's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Welch helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Robert Welch got a free kick in the 86th minute. Nilmar Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Barratt in the 95th minute.
