The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Mochowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Alexandre Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Zacharzewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as UNITED GWAREK's Pankracy Borkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Mochowak. That made the score 1-1 after 11 minutes of play. Herbert Mochowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Rybak in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes UNITED GWAREK got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Rostow. In the 23rd match minute, KAMILOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Castro to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Mochowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Rybak in the 25th minute of the match. Bogdan Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Trynda in the 29th minute of play forced UNITED GWAREK's goalkeeper Olaf Zacharzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Zacharzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Domin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszko Oleszak's late challenge caught a UNITED GWAREK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszko Oleszak helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Herbert Mochowak, was totally fooled by UNITED GWAREK's Edward Domaracki, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Wawrzyniec Rostow lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Wincent Wojtkiewicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Radoslaw Rostow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNITED GWAREK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 45 played minutes UNITED GWAREK got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Golembiewski. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

KAMILOS's Herbert Mochowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Rybak in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Alexandre Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Dariusz Rybak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Mochowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Zacharzewski was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Alexandre Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. After 77 minutes, Jaroslaw Zyskowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAMILOS and the UNITED GWAREK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KAMILOS! The referee gave UNITED GWAREK a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edward Domaracki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KAMILOS's Herbert Mochowak. 5-4. Olaf Zacharzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Mochowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Rybak in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Castro got free with Olaf Zacharzewski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th match minute, UNITED GWAREK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Poremba to maneuver through the defense. If Dariusz Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UNITED GWAREK's Olaf Zacharzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save UNITED GWAREK from getting a goal against them. Herbert Mochowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The UNITED GWAREK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
