After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Arvin Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Boys Predators's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when George Valler came free, but Péter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, George Valler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Péter Čech. Greger Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muğan Färzäliyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Muğan Färzäliyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Myr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaqub Aydinov in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Yaqub Aydinov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when Blue Boys Predators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Yaqub Aydinov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Boys Predators's Greger Myr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mirsaad Denisov's late challenge caught a Blue Boys Predators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirsaad Denisov helped the player get up and apologised. Mirsaad Denisov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Şamaxı Bankirlər from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Mirsaad Denisov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Yaqub Aydinov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greger Myr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Greger Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaqub Aydinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Yaqub Aydinov made the kick off in the second half. When George Valler came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Blue Boys Predators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Valler couldn't finish the play. Yavär Tahirov kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Blue Boys Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Nyström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Blue Boys Predators's Kasper Lindell got a free kick in the 61st minute. George Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaqub Aydinov in the 67th minute of play forced Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper Greger Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Lindström in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Arvin Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yaqub Aydinov fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şamaxı Bankirlər's protests and gave Yaqub Aydinov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Yaqub Aydinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Péter Čech came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Boys Predators's George Valler. But to his dismay, George Valler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With 82 minutes on the clock, Torbjörn Nordmark commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Blue Boys Predators:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Şamaxı Bankirlər:s goal. If Loğman Hacibabayev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loğman Hacibabayev in the 85th minute of play forced Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper Greger Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvin Lindström during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when Blue Boys Predators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirsaad Denisov got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 90 played minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər got a freekick which was hit by Mirsaad Denisov. The audience was convinced that Yaqub Aydinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Greger Myr was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Yaqub Aydinov came free, but Greger Myr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
