In the 38th minute Muğan Färzäliyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Pozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaqub Aydinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Usub Äzizov kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Dexter Morgan VR46 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alvaro Borel made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Alberigo Di Nucci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Péter Čech. Alberigo Di Nucci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Borel came free, but Péter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Péter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bobbio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muğan Färzäliyev might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Pozzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muğan Färzäliyev ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberigo Di Nucci's late challenge caught a Şamaxı Bankirlər's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Di Nucci helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Alberigo Di Nucci got a free kick in the 91st minute.
