The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell-Arne Skott got free with Waldir Gaúcho in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Amaury Hulsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvin Bruhn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Waldir Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell-Arne Skott in the 76th minute.
