When Reuven Speyer fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.R.'s protests and gave Reuven Speyer a yellow card for diving instead. Reuven Speyer hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Jitaru got free with Rozen Lipsky in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Jitaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Rozen Lipsky when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Francisc Ciocâlteu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rozen Lipsky, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in G.R.'s zone, Aurelian Enișteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rozen Lipsky came out of the goal and Aurelian Enișteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, G.R.'s Rozen Lipsky got control of the ball when Francisc Ciocâlteu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of G.R. booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Zotincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelian Enișteanu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rozen Lipsky saved G.R. from getting behind. Rozen Lipsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisc Ciocâlteu in the 49th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelian Enișteanu to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Ciocâlteu came free, but Rozen Lipsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Poplăcean's late challenge caught a G.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Poplăcean helped the player get up and apologised. Ernest Poplăcean kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Emanuel Giurcă acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giovanni Ben Yochay. Emanuel Giurcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuven Speyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When FC Fanaticii's Francisc Ciocâlteu in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Francisc Ciocâlteu got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Ciocâlteu in the 96th minute of play forced G.R.'s goalkeeper Rozen Lipsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rozen Lipsky came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fanaticii's Francisc Ciocâlteu. But to his dismay, Francisc Ciocâlteu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC Fanaticii's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
