The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dedé Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Brodel couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes SANTOS FC- FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Andrade. João Augusto Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adalberto Souza's late challenge caught a Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Souza helped the player get up and apologised. Adalberto Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Jonas Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedé Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Edinho Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Augusto Velasco. João Augusto Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Edinho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. João Augusto Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, João Augusto Velasco, was totally fooled by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Narciso Valle, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's João Augusto Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS FC- FDFDF from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Edinho Bueno took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for João Augusto Velasco to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Velasco, 5-0. 38 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Jonas Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto Velasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Jonas Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Augusto Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 45 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper João Augusto Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Machado. Nuno Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Machado to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinho Bueno in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Velasco saved SANTOS FC- FDFDF from getting behind. João Augusto Velasco came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Edinho Bueno. But to his dismay, Edinho Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Jonas Machado scored 8-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Augusto Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. João Augusto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Carvalho in the 65th minute of play. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's João Augusto Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Bueno in the 67th minute of play. João Augusto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's João Augusto Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Brodel in the 95th minute of play. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
