In the 2nd match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Ciocan to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Freire in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Emílio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sangue nos Zóio booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Răcănel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Tróia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Edinho Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, RED BLUE STAR's Vintilă Ilie tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Victor Răcănel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Grigore Buzgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Igor Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sangue nos Zóio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Rocha couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Răcănel came free, but Antônio Carlos Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Nelsinho do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolae Borcea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Victor Răcănel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Antônio Carlos Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nelsinho do Vale made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Pânzariu. In the 56th minute, Eugen Pânzariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Rocha hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sangue nos Zóio's Acácio Fernandes was substituted for Horácio dos Santos. RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho do Vale in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Sangue nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sangue nos Zóio's Antônio Carlos Leme got control of the ball when Eugen Pânzariu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Dudu Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sangue nos Zóio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED BLUE STAR the free kick. After 84 played minutes Sangue nos Zóio got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Hermes. After 89 minutes of play, Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Borcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho do Vale came free, but Nicolae Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED BLUE STAR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgar Freire was slow to take the kick. During this time Sangue nos Zóio's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Pânzariu got free with Antônio Carlos Leme in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
