Ibrica Džidžić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kennet Hedbom notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Yboy Black's Sever Vâtcă. Sever Vâtcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Lartaun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ibrica Džidžić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergiu Borogeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ibrica Džidžić made a huge save. Miguel Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Ibrica Džidžić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Lartaun in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Kennet Hedbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Hedbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lartaun came free, but Ibrica Džidžić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Kennet Hedbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Hedbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Vâtcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54thth minute of the game Miguel Lartaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Ibrica Džidžić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ladislav Kašić kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Yboy Black's Aaron Chuan tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sever Vâtcă made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Angelo Minotti sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Yboy Black was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sever Vâtcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Marčić's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Miguel Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Angelo Minotti notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Yboy Black's Sever Vâtcă. Sever Vâtcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ninoslav Stipanić hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Yboy Black's Sergiu Borogeanu got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Toni Marčić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Toni Marčić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
