Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Friedel Wahlberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Luka Reich reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionică Verzea. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 12th minute Valeriu Aanuţei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Obregia in the 15th minute of play. Friedel Wahlberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Karhoff during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jakob Karhoff kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rudolf Aschenbrenner hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Reich in the 27th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Ionică Verzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valeriu Aanuţei fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVIUS UNITED MLS's protests and gave Valeriu Aanuţei a yellow card for diving instead. Ionică Verzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Reich in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Valeriu Aanuţei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. Hamburg Fighters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Aanuţei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Valeriu Aanuţei scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Gorcea in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute of the match, Valeriu Aanuţei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 55 minutes, George Obregia made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Aanuţei came free, but Matthew Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Tudor Amarandei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Jastrzembowski. The goal made the score 2-4. Matthew Jastrzembowski came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVIUS UNITED MLS's George Obregia. But to his dismay, George Obregia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 71st minute Valeriu Aanuţei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Obregias short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Matthew Jastrzembowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute, Iustin Gorcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Luka Reich made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Verzea. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Ionică Verzea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Burkhard Niebler. In the 85th minute, Friedel Wahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionică Verzea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Adrian Iovanovici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Adrian Iovanovici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matthew Jastrzembowski. Adrian Iovanovici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-6. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LIVIUS UNITED MLS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
