The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Gutrath. In the 4th minute of the match Bican Özgunay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Jastrzembowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matthew Jastrzembowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenan Yıldız in the 7th minute of the match. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 11th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Jakob Karhoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamburg Fighters and the Lions Of Turks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lions Of Turks made a substitution. Ufuk Okan replaced Vedat Arslanoğlu. Jakob Karhoff kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Seyrani Kose kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Lions Of Turks:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hamburg Fighters:s goal. Lions Of Turks:s Cengiz Bozbey showed great skill when he stopped Rudolf Aschenbrenner:s penalty. 23 minutes into the game, Friedel Wahlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cengiz Bozbey. Friedel Wahlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Doctor Özcakir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Ufuk Okan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthew Jastrzembowski. Hamburg Fighters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ufuk Okan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Doctor Özcakir took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Jastrzembowski. Matthew Jastrzembowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

54 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ufuk Okan. 58 minutes into the game, Ufuk Okan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Matthew Jastrzembowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedel Wahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Uri Eckardt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburg Fighters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uri Eckardt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Bican Özgunay. Matthew Jastrzembowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ufuk Okan in the 84th minute. Ufuk Okan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Lions Of Turks's Çetin Özdoru got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lions Of Turks walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
