Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) After some careless play in the RO Army V55 defense, Angelino Abancens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. The RO Army V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmuth Duckadam should have stopped the shot. Louis Makris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Teodoro Rameriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RO Army V55 were furious when Vaggelis Kefalogiannis was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 8th minute, one of RO Army V55:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RO Army V55. RO Army V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Amancio Virila scored to the left of an out of position Helmuth Duckadam, making the score, 2-0. In the 18th minute Amancio Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match C.A.C. 10 got a corner. RO Army V55's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amancio Virila ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to C.A.C. 10's Angelino Abancens getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jacinto Cordarrel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helmuth Duckadam came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Cordarrel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. The supporters of C.A.C. 10 booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Makris didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.C. 10 were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after RO Army V55's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amancio Virila took the corner. Amancio Virila made a great header on C.A.C. 10's corner, it was just that RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam managed to reach the ball for a save. If Renos Stefanou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Amancio Virila took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Helmuth Duckadam to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Abancens made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Abancens in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Rameriz made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fanis Katsiaounis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Jacinto Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.C. 10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Cordarrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Amancio Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Cordarrel in the 72nd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in RO Army V55's zone, Angelino Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal and Angelino Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Virila in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved RO Army V55 from getting behind.
