The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Aanuţei didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valeriu Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Makris in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ionică Verzea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ionică Verzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Makris in the 23rd minute of the match. Fanis Katsiaounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manos Komaitis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Gorcea in the 37th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeriu Aanuţei took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half LIVIUS UNITED MLS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Iovanovici in the 53rd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tudor Amarandei during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tudor Amarandei kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Louis Makris. The crowd rose to their feet as LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Valeriu Aanuţei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Tudor Amarandei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam, 0-3. In the 67th minute Valeriu Aanuţei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. Ionică Verzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fanis Katsiaounis went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Fanis Katsiaounis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RO Army V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, George Obregia took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Helmuth Duckadam to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Makris in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Verzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LIVIUS UNITED MLS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
