Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Óscar Sabrosa kicked off to start the match. Erasmo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 4th minute of the match. Mario Chaime took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascoal Modesto. Pascoal Modesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Erasmo Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Sabrosa in the 11th minute of play. Palmiro Manso hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Mario Chaime's late challenge caught a Red Proud FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Chaime helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chaime to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Sabrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, German Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascoal Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Chaime in the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Sabrosa came free, but Erasmo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Red Proud FC's Pascoal Modesto got control of the ball when Serafin Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascoal Modesto made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Serafin Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Erasmo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascoal Modesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Chaime in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Serafin Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Caetano Prestes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Serafin Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bresikas's Mario Chaime got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Red Proud FC's Óscar Sabrosa in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bresikas's goalie prevented a goal. Pascoal Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Fernandes in the 68th minute of the match. If Cassiano Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óscar Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Erasmo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Hermelando hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Mario Chaime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascoal Modesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Pascoal Modesto came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Bresikas's Serafin Fernandes. But to his dismay, Serafin Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Red Proud FC booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascoal Modesto having to interfere. Bresikas's Serafin Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pascoal Modesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Teixeira. Serafin Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascoal Modesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafin Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Serafin Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bresikas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Proud FC the free kick. In the 96th minute, Serafin Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassiano Esteves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 97th playminute. Red Proud FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
