After 9 minutes, Claudinho Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ and the ALIANZA 1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudinho Chaves hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ordono Garriga to maneuver through the defense. Arano Uncal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Claudinho Chaves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arano Uncal skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Maranhense got free with Arano Uncal in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arano Uncal made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Claudinho Chaves sent off a good shot on target. Arano Uncal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arano Uncal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Falcão went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Diogo Falcão scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arano Uncal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ALIANZA 1901's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ulysses Gerber scored to the left of an out of position Arano Uncal, making the score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Falcão in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Roger Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arano Uncal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Falcão in the 60th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Arano Uncal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arano Uncal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 71 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Falcão came free, but Arano Uncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Diogo Falcão notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal. Arano Uncal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diegotxe Pujals didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Diogo Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Melo came free, but Arano Uncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislao Sesmilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Diegotxe Pujals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ALIANZA 1901 defense, Diogo Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arano Uncal. The ALIANZA 1901 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arano Uncal should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
