The Plaza Jewell fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Plaza Jewell's Narciso Matro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manuel Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Lépinay in the 21st minute of play. When Wilfried Lépinay came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Les diables noirs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Lépinay couldn't finish the play. Kevan Grange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Urtun in the 35th minute of the match. Raoul Levy kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Filiberto Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Les diables noirs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Plaza Jewell were winning 1-3.

Gaston Galsino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Kevan Grange when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Urtun's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Gaston Galsino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kevan Grange made a huge save. The supporters of Plaza Jewell booed when Les diables noirs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eymeric Laguerre didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Pierrel came free, but Manuel Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Plaza Jewell made a substitution. Laureano Chabier replaced Gaston Galsino. After taking down the ball on Les diables noirs's corner Wilfried Lépinay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Pirmin quite easily take care of the ball. Kevan Grange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Chabier in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Jean-Yves Paturel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Chabier's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Denis Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Jewell's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Milio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevan Grange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kevan Grange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevan Grange was a little too slow when Laureano Chabier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-6. The Plaza Jewell supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Plaza Jewell would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
